How this independent website handles information and local checklist progress.
This notice describes how Ready or Not UK intends to handle personal information. Until a newsletter provider or analytics account is connected, the live site does not collect email addresses or send them anywhere.
Who we are
The publisher is Ready or Not UK (independent editorial project). Contact: Contact details pending.
What we collect
- If you email us, we will see the address and any information you include in the message.
- If you later join the newsletter, the email provider will store your address and consent record. That connection is not active yet.
- The kit builder can save your ticks in your own browser using localStorage. That copy stays on your device unless you clear it.
- Privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or GoatCounter) may later record page views without advertising cookies. No analytics account is wired in yet.
Lawful bases
When the newsletter is connected, consent will be the basis for email marketing. Legitimate interests may apply to answering your email and keeping the site secure. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep information
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Newsletter records follow the provider’s retention settings. Kit builder data remains in your browser until you reset it.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict how it is used, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
International transfers
If you later choose a provider that stores data outside the UK, this page should be updated with that detail.
